The cost of a service call includes: $125 one-time service call fee, $125 per hour for labor, and the cost of any materials needed.
What if the technician solves the problem in under an hour?
The labor rate will be prorated to a certain extent.
Do I need to buy the material or will the technician?
The technician will get or have any material needed. If the call is to replace light fixtures or receptacles, you can buy them if you know what you want. Or, if you're unsure, the technician can buy them as well.
For more extensive jobs, what is the process for getting an estimate?
We offer free estimates. In order to give an accurate estimate, we will need to set up a time to come take a look at the project. Give our office a call to schedule.
How do I get a quote or help with installing cameras?
The best way to get a quote is to call our office. The owner, Steve, will answer any questions and also has suggestions on types of cameras to buy.
How much does a panel change cost?
Every panel upgrade is different but the price can range between $1750.00 to $3500.00 depending on the location of the panel and local inspections.
My house is old, does it need to be rewired?
In most cases, it does not. Most homes are wired with copper which does not rust or tarnish. Many problems associated with older homes are due to the lack of circuits, not the original wiring.
How do I know if my home is up to code?
Any house older than 3 years is not up to code because the electrical code changes every 3 years. Just because your home may not be up to code does not mean it is unsafe.
What if none of these FAQ's answer my question?
Every job is different so there is no way to give an exact price over the phone. If you don't know where your project fits between a service call or an extensive project, give the office a call and we can help answer questions or get a technician out to assess.
