Steve Bloedel SR.

Owner

Steve, originally from Minnesotta, made his way to the CSRA after serving in the Navy on a nuclear submarine for eight years. His service gave him his background training as an electrician. He founded Aiken Augusta Security in 1987 and has grown the business into a larger, reputable name with the help of Eric Presnell and family. He is married to Brenda and has two kids, Steven and Stefanie, who also work for Aiken Augusta Electric and Security.

Career - Eric started working under Steve Bloedel at Aiken Augusta Security in 1995, and became a licensed electrical contractor May 1999. He then started an electrical company under the name Aiken Augusta Electric & Security alongside Steve Bloedel. He has continued to serve customers throughout the CSRA and has built a strong reputation through quality work.

Community - Eric has been a lifelong resident of North Augusta and has played an active role. He ran for North Augusta City Councilman in 2019 and was elected April 30, 2019. He has continued to be an active representative by being involved in funding new buildings for the community, acquiring land that could serve as a community park, as well as keeping community members up to date on important information. He is married to Kat and has a daughter Katie.

Steven is the son of Steve Bloedel, founder of Aiken Augusta Security. He has been with the company since he was 18 and became a licensed electrical contractor January 2020. He has lived in North Augusta his entire life and is excited to be a part of and grow the family business. He is married to Lexie and has two daughters, Scarlett and Allison.
